The main Scala Days event will take place at the Polydôme, a large meeting room located at EPFL with a maximum capacity of 200 people. This is the entrance:

Some auxiliary sessions (demos, beginners' introductions, etc) will be held in the building entrance. The room is not particularly large, but we will be able to accommodate about 40 people.

You can very easily reach the Polydôme from the EPFL station of the city public transport system. Please take the m1 underground line and stop at the EPFL station, the Polydôme will be to your left. If you are arriving from the main railway station (Lausanne CFF), just take the m2 line to Lausanne Flon (one stop), and then the m1 to EPFL. The journey takes about 25-30 minutes.

If you want to reach the site using your car, you can park on-site at EPFL. In this case, however, you will need to purchase well in advance parking passes; you can obtain them from the Registration page. Finding parking spots in the city center can be challenging and/or expensive. We advise you to use the public transport system, instead. If you stay at one of the city's hotels, they will be happy to offer you a free public transport pass, valid on all underground and bus lines.
