Future Directions of Scala

This session contains short presentations on the longer term directions of Scala, programmer tools and eco-system by people like Martin Odersky mixed with feedback and discussion by the Scala Days participants. There will be 150 very active members of the Scala community at Scala Days who represent a broad experience of using Scala in commercial and scientific applications. During this session we will endeavour to bring together the collective knowledge of the community and map out a view of what is needed to make Scala easier to be adopted and used by developers in the future.
